These Program Policies form part of the Tepa Publisher Agreement and govern the day-to-day operation of the Tepa publisher program. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in the Agreement. We may update these Policies at any time, and it is your responsibility to stay up to date with the version published on this page. We notify account holders of material changes in the publisher portal at connect.tepa.one and by email.
1. Listing types
(a) Book — a title offered for sale. A Book has a standing price and may have a temporary promotional price, which may be zero. Every Book is acquired by the user — even at a price of zero — and the reading license granted with the acquisition cannot be unilaterally revoked.
(b) Promo Book — a title made freely readable on the platform under a public license granted by the publisher. Users read Promo Books without restriction and may save them for quick access. The publisher may revoke a Promo Book license at any time, upon which access ends for all users. No fees are charged on free access.
(c) You choose the listing type, prices, and promotional periods for each title in the publisher portal.
2. File requirements
(a) Titles are accepted in PDF format. We recommend uploading PDFs at a resolution of 300 dpi; recommended file size is up to 300 MB.
(b) The first page of the file must be the cover: it is what readers see in the catalog and on the shelf.
(c) We adapt pages for reading on a phone: a page is split into two slides only when its width-to-height ratio exceeds 1.34. If your PDF is already prepared this way (some pages pre-cut, some intentionally wide), add (nosplit) at the end of the file name and we will ingest the document as is: Name file.pdf — we split; Name file (nosplit).pdf — kept as is.
(d) Keep blank pages to a minimum so that the reader reaches the content right after the cover.
(e) Files are stored encrypted. Each title on the platform is a file, its metadata, and its recorded distribution terms: price, territories, license type.
3. Content policies
Tepa is a platform for children's and family reading. Titles must be appropriate for reading with children: we do not accept content with explicit violence, sexual content, or material unlawful for distribution to minors. We may decline or remove a title that violates these requirements, and may restrict a title's visibility based on its description and metadata.
4. Pricing
(a) You set the price of each title: you provide a recommended price, and we match it to the nearest price tier (rounded amounts used in the catalog).
(b) VAT or similar transaction taxes of the buyer's country are added on top of the sale price; we calculate and remit them. They are outside the revenue split.
(c) The payment channel's fee is deducted from the payment: payment provider (Stripe) approximately 3-5%, app stores (Google Play / App Store) 15-30%. These fees are also outside the revenue split. The publisher portal shows the channel of every sale.
5. Sales territories
(a) You set the distribution territories of each title in the publisher portal: worldwide or a limited list of regions.
(b) Russia, Belarus, and mainland China are not available as distribution regions.
(c) Based on a title's description and metadata, the platform may additionally restrict its distribution in specific regions.
6. Revenue share
(a) The amount received on our account after transaction taxes and payment channel fees (Net Revenue) is split as follows: 15% technology fee, 30% marketing fee, 55% to the publisher.
(b) For Referral Sales (see Section 7), the marketing fee is not charged and the publisher receives 85%.
(c) Example: a title priced at $10 by the publisher, buyer's country with 20% VAT — the buyer pays $12. After VAT ($2) and the channel fee, the amount for the split is approximately: Stripe (~4% of the transaction) — ~$9.50, publisher receives ~$5.24 (55%) or ~$8.09 (85%); Google Play (15%) — ~$8.50, publisher receives ~$4.68 / ~$7.23; App Store (30%) — ~$7.00, publisher receives ~$3.85 / ~$5.95.
7. Referral Sales
A sale qualifies as a Referral Sale when all three conditions are met:
(a) the purchase is made by a user who followed your referral link or another promotional mechanic we provide to you;
(b) no more than 30 days have passed since the click-through — a new click-through restarts the count;
(c) the purchased title belongs to your catalog.
In all other cases the standard 55 / 30 / 15 split applies.
8. Platform promotions
(a) We may offer discounts on titles within our own promotions and partner programs (for example, for schools, companies, or communities). Such discounts are funded from our marketing fee: your revenue share is always calculated from the full price of the title.
(b) Organizations may purchase licenses in packages for distribution to families (for example, a school or an employer). For the publisher these are ordinary sales at the standard rate.
9. Refunds and chargebacks
(a) A reader may return a purchased title within 14 days without giving a reason. One exception: a title that has been read (more than 70% of its pages) is refundable only due to a technical problem or with a detailed explanation of the reason.
(b) A refund cancels the sale; the corresponding accrual is reversed in the next reporting period. Purchases made through Google Play / App Store follow the stores' own refund rules.
(c) If a refund is declined, the buyer may initiate a chargeback through the payment channel; the dispute is then handled on the channel's side and the refund may still occur.
(d) Costs of processing refunds and chargebacks (non-refundable payment fees, dispute fees, and similar) are by default borne by the publisher and deducted from the publisher's revenue share. Each case is transparently itemized.
(e) Accounts that abuse refunds are blocked from the refund option at the user level.
10. Payouts
(a) The settlement currency is US dollars.
(b) The reporting period is a calendar month. Payouts are sent within two weeks after the period ends.
(c) Automatic payouts start at $200. Smaller balances do not expire — they roll over to the next period, and we pay them out manually at any time on your request.
(d) Accruals and sales are available in the publisher portal in real time.
11. Content protection
(a) Files are stored encrypted. The original file is never transferred to the user: a buyer receives a reading license, not a file.
(b) Reading takes place only in the application; titles cannot be exported or extracted from it. Platform-level protections against copying (including screenshot controls where supported) apply.
12. Physical book links
For each title you may provide links to purchase the paper edition — in your online store or bookstores. We may display them to users in the application where we consider it appropriate.
13. Optional rights
You may enable additional rights for individual titles or your whole catalog in the publisher portal as the corresponding features become available, including family use of a purchased title (Family Folder, up to 6 family members) and first-read-before-purchase for paid subscribers. Enabling and revoking these rights is at your discretion.
14. Removing titles
Any title can be withdrawn from sale at your request. If a title has never been purchased, we permanently delete it from the platform. If purchases exist, the title disappears from the catalog, and files are retained only to the minimum extent necessary to preserve buyers' access to what they acquired.
15. Contact information
Keep your contact and business details in the publisher portal accurate and up to date: we use them for notices about your account, payouts, and changes to the program documents.
16. Updates to these Policies
We may update these Policies from time to time. Material changes are announced in the publisher portal and, where the Agreement requires, by notice to the publisher. The current version is always available at https://tepa.one/publisher-program-policies.

Zasady Programu Wydawców Tepa (Publisher Program Policies)
Ostatnia aktualizacja: 15.09.2026 r.
Niniejsze Zasady Programu stanowią część umowy Tepa Publisher Agreement i regulują bieżące funkcjonowanie programu wydawców Tepa.
1. Rodzaje wydań
(a) Book — wydanie oferowane do sprzedaży.
(c) Rodzaj wydania, ceny i okresy promocyjne każdego tytułu określasz samodzielnie w portalu wydawcy.
2. Wymagania dotyczące plików
(a) Przyjmujemy wydania w formacie PDF. Zalecamy przesyłanie plików PDF w rozdzielczości 300 dpi; zalecany rozmiar pliku - do 300 MB.
3. Zasady dotyczące treści
Tepa to platforma czytania dziecięcego i rodzinnego.
4. Ceny
(a) Cenę każdego wydania ustala wydawca: podajesz cenę rekomendowaną, a my dobieramy najbliższy próg cenowy (zaokrąglone kwoty w katalogu).
(b) Do ceny sprzedaży doliczany jest VAT lub podobny podatek kraju kupującego; naliczamy go i odprowadzamy my. Pozostaje on poza podziałem przychodów.
(c) Z płatności potrącana jest prowizja kanału płatności: dostawca płatności (Stripe) ok. 3-5%, sklepy z aplikacjami (Google Play / App Store) 15-30%. Te prowizje również pozostają poza podziałem. W portalu wydawcy widoczny jest kanał każdej sprzedaży.
(a) zakupu dokonał użytkownik, który przeszedł przez Twój link referencyjny lub inną udostępnioną Ci mechanikę promocyjną;
(b) od przejścia minęło nie więcej niż 30 dni — nowe przejście wznawia odliczanie;
(c) zakupione wydanie należy do Twojego katalogu.
We wszystkich pozostałych przypadkach obowiązuje standardowy podział 55 / 30 / 15.
8. Promocje platformy
9. Zwroty i chargebacki
10. Wypłaty
(a) Walutą rozliczeń jest dolar amerykański.
(b) Okres rozliczeniowy to miesiąc kalendarzowy.
12. Linki do książek papierowych
Do każdego wydania możesz dodać linki do zakupu wersji papierowej — w Twoim sklepie internetowym lub księgarniach.
15. Dane kontaktowe
Dbaj o aktualność swoich danych kontaktowych i firmowych w portalu wydawcy: korzystamy z nich do powiadomień dotyczących Twojego konta, wypłat i zmian w dokumentach programu.
16. Zmiany niniejszych Zasad
