Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Tepa Remote Reader app, the my.tepa.one account portal, and the tepa.one website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Who we are
Tepa is operated by DGP EU Sp. z o.o., ul. Złota 75A/7, 00-819 Warszawa, Poland (NIP: 5273096711, KRS: 0001085551). You can reach us at .
2. What Tepa is
Tepa lets you read books together with another person in real time, build a personal library, and receive books from publishers and bookstores that support Tepa. Books delivered by publishers and stores are provided as reading access — not as files you can download, export, or transfer outside the app.
3. Your account
4. Your content
PDFs you import yourself and stories you create stay yours. You can download your own imports back at any time. By uploading content you confirm you have the right to use it, and you grant us only the technical license needed to store, process, and display it to you and the people you read with.
5. Books from publishers and stores
Books delivered through Tepa remain the property of their rights holders. Your access may be permanent, time-limited, or subscription-based — the rights holder sets the terms shown at purchase. Access is tied to your account and protected: copies are encrypted, and screenshots are blocked or logged where supported.
6. What you must not do
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Tepa infringes your rights, follow the process on our Report Infringement page. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
8. Purchases
Purchases made on publisher or bookstore sites are contracts between you and that seller — the seller handles payment, pricing, and refunds. Purchases made through app stores follow the store's payment and refund rules.
9. Termination
You can stop using Tepa and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On deletion, your imported content is removed; access granted by rights holders ends with the account.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Tepa is provided "as is". We work to keep the service available and content protected, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or absolute protection against copying. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Tepa after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Warsaw, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence provide otherwise.
